NOTICE OF POSTPONEMENT OF THE ECOPARK MARATHON 2020

Dear Ecopark Marathon 2020’s Athletes,

As we all know, Covid-19 epidemic emerged in Wuhan, Hubei, China from the end of 2019. Until now, it has spread to more than 50 countries/ territories in the world. Since the coronavirus outbreak time with an evolving and complex situation, we have closely followed the acute respiratory disease situation in Vietnam to assess and make the appropriate decision on the race, as well as comply with direction from the Decision No 173/QD-TTg signed by the Prime Minister on Feb 01 2020

As planned, Ecopark Marathon 2020 (EPM20) race day is originally scheduled on Mar 10 (Lunar Calendar), which is Apr 02 2020 at Ecopark Township – Van Giang – Hung Yen. Above all, we wish to organize a safe race, ensure good health for all registered Athletes as well as the Sponsors, Crews, Pacers, Cheerleaders, and the Community… However, after the time we have followed and evaluated the situation, got the consultations from Health authorities and other functional authorities, and given our top priority of athlete health, EMP20’s Organizer would need to inform to all registered Atheletes that the race day is POSTPONED to the expected date of Sep 02 2020, due to a force majeure circumstance which is out of our control. The organizer will keep your registrations and support free transfers.

Finally, Ecopark Marathon Organizer would like to express our sincere apology to all Runners for this change. We look forward to your kind understanding, sympathy and continued support in the coming time.
